Dating in Puerto Vallarta
New Year’s Eve was a gala in Puerto Vallarta. The streets will be filled with families, dancers, revelers, straight and gay people, entertainers, spectators, and a lot of singles. Our friend lamented the next day; she was dressed to the nines, looked fabulous, had a splendid time but was surrounded by couples. There were a few single men, she pined, but they were all gay. Let me say that I have many friends who have met someone in Puerto Vallarta. It is not impossible, and it doesn’t require hanging out in bars.
Facebook and other social media, of course, are excellent sources for making oneself known but they are limited to sitting in front of a computer. We recommend getting to know people face to face. There are countless volunteer opportunities to meet people of all genders, ages, and persuasions; it’s a perfect path to expanding your community of friends. These groups not only work in their given communities, with pet adoptions or assisting with children and families, they also have benefits that require a lot of work and depend completely on volunteers and donations. Being philanthropic will introduce one to people who are often on a similar mission.
Dance. Clubs like J&B and La Bodeguita del Medio will give you the opportunity to learn the steps and meet a partner who will be thrilled to salsa with you. Shanti, Academia, and other studios offer classes in salsa, meringue, and samba, as well. Check local yoga studios, bulletin boards and dance clubs. Along the Malecón there are more clubs than we have the space to name.
Dating sites for Puerto Vallarta aren’t plenty, but they do exist and certainly worth checking out. Mingle2.com is free and visited by people of all ages, men, and women. If you do connect with someone, be prudent. Meet them in daylight hours, in a public place, for coffee or something non-alcoholic and take your time. Whatever you do, don’t go home with anyone you’ve just met after a night of drinking and dancing.
Nothing attracts the opposite sex more than having a well behaved, groomed, friendly dog. Dog walkers meet all types of people. Try the pet rescue organizations as a volunteer and get started on the path to partnership!
